2019 Chevrolet Blazer

The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer is an all-new addition to the Chevy lineup. The mid-size crossover fits in between the Equinox and the Traverse and comes with two rows of seats as well as a spacious cargo area.

The Chevrolet Blazer is available at four trim levels: L, Blazer (LT), RS, and Premier.

Powertrains and Performance

The standard engine on the base L trim is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Together, this powertrain is capable of producing 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Next up the trims is the Blazer (LT), where an available 3.6-liter V6 engine can get 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. This engine can be upgraded with all-wheel drive.

With the base engine and front-wheel drive, the Blazer delivers an EPA-estimated 22 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined*. And when properly equipped, the Blazer can tow up to 4,500 pounds. 

    Interior Design

    There is plenty of space for everyone in the 2019 Blazer; it has seating for up to five passengers. The second row slides and reclines for added versatility and comfort. Behind the second row, the Blazer offers 30.5 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seats folded, this grows to 64.2 cubic feet.

    The Blazer comes well-equipped with modern interior features. It comes standard with keyless ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, four USB ports, an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth® connectivity, satellite radio, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® compatibility, and OnStar® with 4G LTE Wi-Fi® capabilities. 

      Safety

      Every Blazer comes standard with a rearview camera, airbags, antilock brakes, and Traction and Stability Control. The LT trim with leather adds rear parking sensors, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Additional safety options including Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree parking camera system.
