2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 

America’s favorite Chevy truck is all-new for the 2019 model year, offering more power, capability, and smart technology. The 2019 Silverado 1500 provides a ride that is just as sophisticated as it is strong.

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is available at eight trim levels: WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, LT Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, and High Country.

All trim levels of the 2019 Silverado 1500 are available with two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, except the Trail Boss models that only offer available four-wheel drive. The WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, and LTZ trim levels all come in three body configurations: Double Cab, Standard Bed; Crew Cab, Short Bed; and Crew Cab, Standard Bed. The LT Trail Boss and High Country Trims are only available with a Crew Cab with either a Short or Standard Bed.

Powertrains & Performance

The 2019 Chevy Silverado offers six sophisticated powertrain options. On the Work Truck, Custom, and Custom Trail Boss trim levels, the truck comes with a standard 4.3-liter V6 engine with Active Fuel Management that delivers 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque on a six-speed automatic transmission. On these same models, the Silverado offers an available 5.3-liter V8 engine with Active Fuel Management that generates 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. For cutting-edge efficiency technology, choose the available 5.3-liter V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management technology that comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine is standard on the LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country trim levels and is available on the LT and RST trims. 

Standard on the LT and RST trims is the 2.7-liter Turbo engine with Active Fuel Management. This engine produces 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque with an eight-speed automatic transmission. For top-of-the-line power, pick the available 6.2-liter V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management. This formidable engine cranks out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque while operating with a ten-speed automatic transmission.

The 2019 Silverado 1500 also offers the 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel engine with a ten-speed automatic transmission. With this powertrain, the Silverado 1500 achieves unparalleled capability and efficiency.

    Exterior Highlights

    The 2019 Silverado 1500’s all-new design features incredible exterior perks, including an all-new truck bed called Durabed. Durabed offers as much as 20 percent more cargo space than its truck competitors, boasting best-in-class bed width and best-in-class bed length — for standard and short box — for a total bed volume of 62.9 cubic feet. The bed also offers various convenience features like 12 standard tie-downs, CornerStep footwells in the rear bumper, and an available power release tailgate.
